Boost My Resume ("the Service", "we", "us") is an AI-powered resume analysis tool. You upload your resume, our system processes it using Google's Gemini AI model, and returns a score along with actionable improvement suggestions.

The Service is provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only. Scores and suggestions are generated by an AI model and do not constitute professional career advice or guarantee employment outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Your Resume and Personal Data

When you upload a resume, it will typically contain personal information such as your name, contact details, work history, and educational background. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are the owner of the document you upload, or you have explicit permission to submit it for analysis.
• Your resume content will be transmitted to Google's Gemini AI API for the purpose of analysis and scoring.
• Google's Gemini API processes your resume data as described in Google's own API usage policies and data processing terms. We encourage you to review Google's Gemini API Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles data.
• We do not sell your resume data to third parties.
• You should not submit resumes containing sensitive categories of data beyond what is typically included in a professional resume (e.g., avoid including medical records, financial details, or government identification numbers).

4. How the AI Score Works

The resume score and feedback you receive are generated by Google's Gemini AI model. The analysis is automated and reflects patterns learned during AI model training. Scores are not a definitive assessment of your professional worth or employability.

We do not manually review your resume. Results may vary and the Service does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any specific job application.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents that you do not own or are not authorised to submit.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the AI model's scoring logic.
• Use the Service to upload malicious files, spam, or content that violates applicable laws.
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service in bulk without our written consent.
• Attempt to circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures in place.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your resume and the content within it. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your resume solely to provide the analysis you requested. This licence expires when your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Boost My Resume brand, website design, scoring interface, and associated software are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• AI-generated scores or suggestions are accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual circumstances.
• Using the Service will result in improved job prospects or hiring outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Boost My Resume and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities or reliance on AI-generated feedback.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of this Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if the Service was used free of charge, zero).

9. Third-Party Services

This Service relies on Google's Gemini API. We are not responsible for any changes to Google's services, pricing, availability, or data handling practices. Our use of the Gemini API is subject to Google's terms of service.
